1. St Cuthbert's Primary School

General:

New in 2002, Saint Cuthbert's Primary School required a site which advertised the successes of the school.

The site needed to be easily maintained and edited by both teachers and pupils.

Technical:

The whole site is written in the PHP dynamic scripting language with a MySql Database on the backend providing excellent download speeds and functionality.

Administration of the whole site is achieved through an easy-to-use, secure and password protected control panel.

2. The Islander Newspaper

General:

The Islander Newspaper (Internet Edition) is an immensely popular site with a large and regular world-wide readership. We launched this site early in 1998 as an experiment and were overwhelmed with its success. From a small beginning, the site now has several hundred pages of packed and interesting content.

The paper and Internet editions of the newspaper are published weekly by a dedicated group of volunteers. The Internet Edition's site is looked after by a small team of the paper's own volunteer Internet Editors and we now only perform housekeeping and maintenance tasks when necessary.

3. Ascension Island Scout Group

General:

An award-winning, nicely laid out site which we first created in 1998. This site shows what young Scouts on a tiny island can achieve. The site was fully handed over to the group in 2000.

Technical:

The whole site is written in plain HTML. There are also streaming Real Audio broadcast messages from the Scouts themselves
